This week’s playlist is heavily, heavily influenced by Afropunk. Afropunk is a HUGE blanket term that can be used to describe music from Grace Jones to Bad Brains to Flying Lotus to Santigold. Afropunk is not just a genre, but a movement and a school of thought.

Lilith Ai is one of our favorite artists on this week’s playlist. Lilith is not only a musician, but also a brilliant visual artist and comic book writer/illustrator. She is a member of the London collective Fight Like A Girl alongside Georgia Jagger, the daughter of Mick Jagger, the famous lead singer of The Rolling Stones.
